Why Civil Engineering
Because the world thinks big. Civil engineers make the big stuff happen, helping to design and build the structures that shape the cities we live in. Around five thousand new graduates are needed for Civil Engineering jobs over the next 10 years. The BEngTech (Civil) could see you designing high-rise buildings, looking after our harbours, waterways and airports, or building bridges and roads.

YEAR 13
Minimum 60 credits at Level 3, including Calculus & Physics (14 credits per subject).

Get started with the 2 year NZ Diploma in Engineering. You’ll need 48 credits at Level 2. Essential subjects: Calculus & Physics.
